LANDRY, ROBERT - Robert J Landry, 88, of Veterans Health Center, Moncton passed away at his residence on Thursday, January 12, 2012 following lengthy illness. Born November 9, 1923 in Shediac, N.B. he was the son of the late Alec Landry and the late Léonie Bourque. A Second World War overseas veteran he served with the Royal Canadian Army in Italy were he was wounded. He is survived by his three children: Randy Landry of Vancouver, Anita Arsenault of Shediac, Muriel Reeve of Windsor ON; three brothers: Camille of Shediac, Ronald (Stephanie) of Edmonton AL, and Francis of Shediac. Other then his parents he is predeceased by several brothers and sisters; André, Edgar, Elmire, Jean.
In keeping with his wishes, there will be no visiting hours. A grave side service will be heled in Saint Joseph R.C. cemetery, Shediac in the spring. Cremation arrangements entrusted to the professional care of Frenette Funeral Home Ltd, 396 Main St, Shediac (506-532-3297).
