It is with great sadness that the family of the late Dorcas Jane Gillingham, age 87, announce her passing at the Baie Verte Peninsula Health Centre, Baie Verte, NL on Saturday, January 7, 2012. Predeceased by her husband - Stewart Gillingham; parents - Edward & Eliza White; parents-in-law - Manasses & Agnes Gillingham; brother-in-law - Hector Gillingham. Left with fond memories are her children - Viola Pinksen (Ford), Seal Cove, NL and Wayne Gillingham (Phyllis), Fort McMurray, AB; grandchildren - Karen Lewis (Dennis), Lori Pichota (Cory), Colin Pinksen, Judy Gagnon (Paul), Jeana Pinksen (Andy Warford), Justin Gillingham (Samantha Short) and Amanda Abbott (Shane); great-grandchildren - Stephen & Robert Lewis; Jacob & Hudson Pichota; Seth Gillingham; Hannah Gillingham & Colton Abbott; Chloe Gagnon and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Rev. Madonna Boone conducted the funeral service at St. Swithin’s Anglican Church and Cemetery, Seal Cove, NL on Thursday, January 12, 2012.
Pallbearers were Colin Pinksen, Justin Gillingham, Gordon Parsons, George Osbourne, Rodney Rice and James Parsons.
