Dora Bourque
BOURQUE, DORA - Dora Bourque, 84, of the Villa Providence and formerly of Weldon Street, Shediac, passed away at her residence, on Monday, January 16, 2012. Born September 30th, 1927 in Bouctouche, she was the daughter of the late August and Emma (Richard) Boudreau. Prior to her retirement, Dora was a librarian with the Shediac library. She was also a former member of les Dames D’Acadie, Hospice Shediac, and les Femmes Chrétiennes. She will be greatly missed by her husband Lorenzo Bourque; two daughters: Francine Bourque (Richard) of Shediac, Suzanne Bourque of Dieppe; three sons: Hubert Bourque (Sandra) of Rigaud, Quebec, Daniel Bourque (Marlène Bernachez) of Montreal, and Marcel Bourque of Calgary; one sister: Alida Cormier of Montreal, and one brother: Edmond Boudreau (Hélène) of Shediac; eight grandchildren: Chantal, Caroline, Ariane, Jérémie, Joshua, Elyse, Margaux, William and Alexander, as well as several nephews. She is also predeceased by one daughter Nadine Ross (1994).
Visitation from Frenette Funeral Home, 396 Main Street, Shediac (532-3297) on Friday, January 20th from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. A chapel service will be held on Saturday, January 21st, 2012 at 11a.m from the funeral home.
