July 5, 1974 - October 13, 2006 Krista passed away peacefully in her sleep with her family by her side, after a brave battle with cancer. She was born in Kamloops, BC July 5, 1974. She will be deeply missed by her children Trent and Cole, her parents Ken and Vicky, her twin sister Koreen (DJ), niece Jade, nephew Talon, her brother Dwayne, Grandparents Jack and Audrey, Ed and Lil, many aunts, uncles, cousins, her companion Fred and countless friends. Krista was a very caring compassionate woman in life, and with her work with the disabled. She enjoyed life to the fullest, and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. The family would like to thank Dr. Spry, Dr. Dunn, Dr. Love, and the wonderful staff at Nanaimo Palliative Care Hospital, and staff of the Richmond Pavilion, cancer clinic in Victoria, for their kindness and compassion during this difficult time. The Bailey/Olsen family would also like to say a special thank you to everyone that has been there through Krista's illness. Being the fundraising supporters and donators, to the organizers, you know who you are. There are too many to mention. It has been very much appreciated. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, October 18th, 2006, 1:00 P.M., at "The First Memorial Funeral Home", 1720 Bowen Road, Nanaimo, BC. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Canadian Cancer Foundation, or a charity of your choice, in Krista's memory.
