Mary Ripley
RIPLEY, MARY AGNES (SCOTT) - Mrs. Mary Agnes (Scott) Ripley wife of Melvin Ripley of James Street, Miramichi passed away Thursday evening at Miramichi Regional Hospital, at the age of 63. Born in Newcastle, NB, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Rita (Boudreau) Scott. She was a child care worker, member of Girl Guides of Canada and also a member of St Samuel’s Roman Catholic Church. Besides her husband Melvin she is survived by one daughter Tammie Turner (Eric) of Saint John, NB, two sisters, Shirley Scott of Naimo, BC and Joan McCarthy of Grand Falls, NB, four brothers, Tom (Judy) Scott, Albert Scott, Eddie Scott and Bruce (Helen) Scott all of Miramichi. Besides her parents she was predeceased by one son Christopher.
Mrs. Mary Agnes (Scott) Ripley is resting at Davidson’s Funeral Home, 597 Old King George Hwy, Miramichi with visitation on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday, January 23, 2012 at 11 a.m. at St Samuel’s Roman Catholic Church with Father Maurice Swift and Father John Fraser officiating. Burial will be in the family lot of the church cemetery in the spring. In memory of Mary donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Miramichi Regional Hospital Palliative Care Unit or a memorial of ones choice would be appreciated.
