The death occurred suddenly on Saturday, Jan. 28, 2012, of Stephen Bernard Joseph O’Brien of Summerside, and formerly of Wellington Centre, aged 45 years. Stephen was born on Nov. 1, 1966, in Summerside to his late parents Camillus and Theresa (nee Kilbride) O’Brien. Loving father of Joey of Millvale and stepfather to Mikailla and Tyler of Summerside. Survived by his sisters Bernadette of N.B., Maureen of N.S., Jacinta (Don Rogers) of Kelowna, B.C., and his brother Eddie (Tanya Doucette) of Summerside. Also lovingly remembered by several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and cousins. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside, until Wednesday, Feb. 1, for a funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 10.30 a.m. Interment to take place in People’s Cemetery, Summerside. Visiting hours on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Memorial donations in Stephen’s memory to the P.E.I. Humane Society or the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
