Ann Kenena Loggie, 60, of Fall River, passed away on Jan. 28, 2012, in the Halifax Infirmary.
Born in Glace Bay, she was a daughter of the late James and Dora (LeClair) Denny.
Ann loved to walk and was fondly known as the “ponytail lady” in Fall River.
She worked for many years at Bank of Montreal and the Real Canadian Wholesale Club in Halifax.
Ann loved her pets and was famous for her homemade preserves.
She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Art; daughter, Meghan; siblings, Jim (Diane) Denny, Arlette (Omar) Sloan, Tilly (Bobby) Morrison, Lonnie (Jim) Denis, Mockie (Moe) Laurin, Gail (Mick) Meechan, Rita (Jack) Hurst, David (Mary) Denny, Jean (Jim) Ferguson, Michael Denny and Louis Eddie; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2012, at 1 p.m. in Atlantic Funeral Home, 125 Sackville Dr., Lower Sackville, with a reception to follow in the funeral home reception centre.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the SPCA or the food bank.
