HENRY, GARY WALTER WELDON - At the Charlotte County Hospital, St. Stephen, NB on January 30, 2012, Mr. Gary Walter Weldon Henry, husband of Mrs. Ellen Jane (Jackson) Henry of St. George, NB. Born at Saint John, NB on December 20, 1941, he was the son of the late Albert and Lois (Eldridge) Henry. A loving husband, father, grandfather and brother, in addition to his loving wife Ellen, he is survived by two sons; Brian Henry and Hal Henry both of St. George, NB, four grandchildren; Cory, Melissa, Jonathan and Rebecca, two great grandchildren; Raine and Meagan, sisters; Joanne, Beverly, Ruth, Lilla, and Mary Ellen and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Gary was predeceased by one grandson, Adam Henry. Prior to his retirement, Gary worked 33 years for NB Power as a System Operator and Load Forecaster. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed both hunting and fishing and loved to tend to his garden. In his retirement, he loved to spend time surrounded by his family, especially his grandchildren.
Resting at the St. George Funeral Home & Crematorium (755-3533), 26 Portage Street, St. George, NB from where visiting will be held on Thursday from 1 to 3 pm. As keeping with Gary’s wishes, there will be no funeral service. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Charlotte County Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. (www.stgeorgefh.ca)
