It is with great sadness that the family of the late Clyde L Lee Sr. of Fortune, announces his passing at The Blue Crest Home in Grand Bank on Wednesday January 25, 2012 at the age of 83. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are Sons Clyde (Fay) Lee of Fortune, Robert of Fortune, Dennis (Cammie) of Fortune; Daughters Joyce (Patrick) Stacey of Fortune, Jean (John) King of Salt Pond, Marilyn (Roy) Foote of Fortune, Judy (Cecil) Hillier of Scarborough, ON, Daphne (Dave) Taylor of Port au Bras, Kathy (Brian) Boland of Fortune, Shirley (Calvin) Thornhill of Fortune, Karen (Melvin) Martin of Lamaline, Shelley (Kevin) Rose of Souris, PEI and Wanda Lee (Thomas) of Ajax, ON; Sister Laura Hefferton of St. John’s; Brother Tom Lee of St. John’s; 28 Grandchildren; 17 Great-Grandchildren; plus a large circle of family and friends. Pre-deceased by wife Alice; Parents George & Rachel Lee; daughter-in-law Pearl Lee; Brothers Jack, Cyril, Doug, Charles and George; Sisters Ruth, Lydia, Clara and Edith.

Funeral Service took place on Saturday January 28, 2012 at 2:00pm from Fortune United Church in Fortune. Interment followed at the United Church Cemetery in Fortune. In Clyde’s memory donations may be made to the United Church Cemetery Fund. Flowers gratefully accepted.
