It is with great sadness that the family of the late James S Caines of Fortune, announces his passing at The Blue Crest Home in Grand Bank on Friday January 27, 2012 at the age of 94. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are Wife Stella of 69 years; Sons Jim (Cecilia), Roy (Tryphene), Andre (Marjorie), Phillip, Tom and Ray all of Fortune; Daughters Mary (Charles) Dominix of Fortune, Louisa (Hedley) Hillier of Fortune, Mercedes (Fred) Caines of Fortune; Sister Louisa Dunne of Fortune; 18 Grandchildren; 20 Great-Grandchildren; 1 Great-Great-Grandchild; plus a large circle of family and friends. Pre-deceased by Parents Thomas & Mary Caines; Brother John Caines; Sisters Beatrice and Susie; Grandson Rodney Hillier.

Funeral Mass took place on Monday January 30, 2012 at 2:00pm The Most Holy Rosary Church in Point May. Interment followed at the RC Cemetery in Point May. In James’s memory donations may be made to Alzheimer’s Society. Flowers gratefully accepted.
