Passed away peacefully after a struggle with cancer at the L.A. Miller Centre on Wednesday, January 31st, 2012. Gerard, “Gerry” Finney, age 54 years. Predeceased by parents Ethel and James Finney and sister Lorraine Drake. Leaving to morn with fond and loving memories brothers: Jim (Terry) Finney and Pat (Shelley) Finney; sisters: Marie (Larry) Lyver, Sharon (Kevin) Lyver, and Judy Vanta; special nieces: Angelica and Sarah Finney, Rose Vanta, Lynn Lyver-Sparkes and Judy Drake, as well a large circle of many other nieces, nephews relatives and friends. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Rd. Visitation on Wednesday from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m., Thursday from 2 p.m. – 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place on Friday, February 3rd, 2012 at 12 noon from Caul’s Chapel. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or a donation may be made in his memory to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Foundation.
