Joyce Patricia Doucette passed away at St. Joseph's Health Centre, Guelph on Tuesday, January 10, 2012, in her 80th year, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Liverpool she was the daughter of the late Perry & Addie MacLeod. Beloved wife of the late Louis; Proud and devoted mother of Donna Biddiscombe (Dan) of Guelph, Louis P. (Nola), Jean, Jeff (Tracey), Tina Stephens (Troy), all of Campbellford and the late Gregory; Cherished Grandma of Philip (Lisa), Nathan, Danielle (Rob), Kevin (Tara), Josh, Chantal, Joel, Hannah, Cameron, Josee, Bowen and the late Joel; Great Grandma of Cael, Leah, Emma, Ashtyn, Lilly and Zackary. Joyce is also survived by sisters Bertha Manthorne, Liverpool, Anita Hyatt & Annie Stewart of Bridgewater and Madeline Meade, Halifax and also many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was also predeceased by Sisters Vilda Ross, Nina Conrad and brothers King & Jack MacLeod of Liverpool & also St. Claire Crouse of Charleston. In addition to the love Joyce had for her family, she will be remembered for her love of trout fishing, of Nova Scotia, of singing and of music in general. A celebration of her life was held on Saturday, February 4th at the Oddfellows Hall, in Campbellford, ON.
