BASQUE, NORMAND JOSEPH - It is with sadness we announce the passing of Normand Joseph Basque which occurred unexpectedly on Saturday February 4, 2012 at his residence. Born 1936 in Losier Settlement, NB he was the son of the late Francois and Pauline (Arsenault) Basque. He is survived by his sons Paul of Riverview, Ronald (Kimberley) of Salisbury, NB and Robert Toronto, ON; one daughter Karen (Daniel) LeFort of Saint John; one brother Donat of Tracadie-Sheila, NB; sisters Irene Chouinard of Saint John and Angelina Chaisson of Tracadie-Sheila, NB; seven grandchildren Christopher, Matthew, Ashley, Andrew, Alanna, Anthony and Robert and one great grandchild Ayden. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his brothers Fabien, Gilles and Wilfred and a sister Jean Brideau.
Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with visitation on Tuesday February 7, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday February 8, 2012 at 1:30 p.m. Interment will take place in Holy Cross Cemetery.
