We, the family of Irvine Park (Sr.), wish to express our sincere thanks to everyone who helped us in our time of grief with the passing of a dear father, father-in-law, grandfather, great grandfather and great-great grandfather. We gratefully acknowledge all expressions of sympathy through cards, food, flowers, phone calls, messages, visits and donations to the St. Nicholas “Roof Restoration Fund”.

We would especially like to thank Dr. Robert Brake for his many years of service. A sincere thank you to the staff of The Mountain View Home, Meadows and the Corner Brook Long Term Care Center for their exceptional care and friendship shown. Our heartfelt love and thanks go to his Home Care Worker’s; Nancy, Elaine, Charlotte and Mary who for several years gave him exceptional and compassionate care. We gratefully acknowledge Pastor Sampson and the Emmanuel Pentecostal Congregation, special friends: Aubrey and Mabel Ellsworth and the St. Nicholas Church Family. Your kindness meant so much and will never be forgotten.

A special thank you to all who participated during both the family service and the funeral service. Thank you to Bishop Coffin, Bishop Whitten, Rev. Joan Coles, Rev. Ed House, Lay readers; Aubrey Ellsworth, Allen Park, Irvine Park (Jr.) the St. Nicholas choir for the beautiful anthem, organist Dennis Barnes and his very special pallbearers, sons; Will, Irvine (Jr.), Clarence, Elvis and grandsons; Dennis and Owen. To the grandchildren; Rev. Baxter who gave the homily, Corinna, Gilles, Samantha, Lorne and Lana who did the scripture readings and to son Irvine (Jr.), family friend Allen Park and grandchildren Gilles, Blaine and Renee for their wonderful gift of song. He would have been so proud of all of you.
