SMITH, FREDA MAE - Surrounded by her loving family, Freda Mae Smith, of Woodstock, NB, passed away on Monday, February 06, 2012 at The Upper River Valley Hospital Waterville, NB at the age of 84. Born in Canterbury, NB she was the daughter of the late Ray and Gladys (Lindsay) Dickinson. Freda is survived by her sons; Daren Smith (Rhonda), Pembroke, NB, Mark Smith (Brenda), Bedell, NB, grandchildren; Megan, Tabitha, Ben, great granddaughter; Hayden, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her parents; Freda was predeceased by her husband; John Blair Smith, and a brother; Claude Dickinson.
Visitation will be held at The Carleton Funeral Home 337 Lockhart Mill Road Jacksonville, NB on Tuesday, February 7 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 8 from The Carleton Funeral Home Chapel at 2 PM. Interment will be in the Marne Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to River Valley Cancer Support Group, Women’s Institute Home, or to a memorial of the donor’s choice.
