Richard Kozak
Richard Gerald Kozak age 66 of Red Deer, AB, formerly of Trenton, passed away at home in Red Deer on February 5th, 2012.
Born in Windsor, Ontario, he was a son of the late Nicholas and Stella (Stachiw) Kozak.
Richard had been a resident of Trenton before moving to Red Deer, Alberta. He worked for many years as a watch maker. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints. Music was a big part of Richard’s life and he was an accomplished accordion player.
He is survived by his wife Joye, Red Deer, AB; children: Robert, Los Angeles; Brad (Colleen), Hillsburg, ON; Kristal (Sheldon) Fraser, Red Deer, AB; grandchildren: Eric, Amber, Michael, Jared, Brittani, Paige, Nicholas (Jade), Chad and Bailey; brother Steve (Bonny), Ajax, ON; sister Rose Marie, ON.
He was predeceased by a granddaughter Keelyn Fraser.
Visitation will be from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Friday in the H.W. Angus Funeral Home, New Glasgow. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday from the Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints in New Glasgow. Burial will be in MacPherson’s Mills Cemetery.
