HAYES, MARGARET ROSE - The death of Margaret Rose Hayes occurred on Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born May 12, 1937 in Saint John, she was the only daughter of the late Harry and Mabel (Donovan) Hayes. Margaret was a graduate of St. Vincent’s Girls High School, was very faithful, and attended the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception where she worked as a receptionist for 9 years following her retirement. Margaret is survived by Anna Marie Horgan; her good friend Andrea Brown; and her friends at Cozy Manor. She was predeceased by her parents.
Resting at Fitzpatrick’s Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo Street (634-1965) on Thursday, February 9, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, February 10, 2012 at 12:05 PM from the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. Interment will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
