It is with heavy hearts that we, the family of Kimberley Chant, announce her passing on Feb. 7, 2012, at the Glace Bay Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.
For several years Kim was employed with the Hudson Bay Company and recently became a teachers assistant with the Cape Breton Victoria-Regional School Board.
Kim enjoyed her trips to Florida and the Daytona Raceway.
Kim was also a member of St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church and played with the church choir and the Second Wind Orchestra.
Kim was the daughter of Lillian (Bray) MacInnis and the late Norman MacInnis.
Kim is survived by daughter, Cheyenne, and will be greatly missed by her family and friends and her buddy Lindy (the dog).
Visitation for the late Kim Chant will be held at Patten Funeral Home, 71 Union St., Glace Bay, on Friday, Feb. 10, 2012, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, Feb. 11, 2012, in St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church at 1 p.m. with Rev. Ricthie Robinson officiating. Burial to take place in Greenwood Cemetery at a later date.
