At Community Hospital, O'Leary on Thursday, Feb. 9, 2012 of Doris Ola Strang-Mincie of O'Leary aged 74, wife of the late Boyd Mincie. Doris was born in O'Leary on Sept. 9, 1937, daughter of the late Ross and Edith (MacWilliams) Strang. She is survived by brothers and sisters: Ian, O'Leary; Frances (Reggie) Wallace, Elmsdale; Eva (Ronnie) Gamble, Canoe Cove; Erroll (Marilyn) Strang, Mill River; Charlie, Toronto; sisters in law Winnie Strang, Joan Strang Charlottetown and Pat Strang, O'Leary. Doris is also survived by her dear friends Betty (Floyd) Cook and Jim (Marjorie) MacDonald. She was predeceased by her parents, husband, brothers Herbie, Donnie, Benjamin, Vernon, George, John and sisters Freda and Florence. Resting at the Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O'Leary with visiting hours Friday 1 p.m. until the time of the service in the Chapel at 2 p.m. Interment to follow in the Springfield West Baptist Church Cemetery. In memory of Doris, memorials to the Springfield West Baptist Cemetery or Hospice Palliative Care (West Prince) would be appreciated.
