Passed peacefully away at Interfaith Nursing Home, Carbonear on Friday, February 3, 2012, Mrs. Grace Mason (nee Clarke) of Spaniard’s Bay (formerly of Otterbury), aged 87 years. Predeceased by parents: Norman and Bertha Clarke (nee Percy); husband: Arthur Roland Mason; sisters: Ethel (Clifton) Anthony, Rita (George) Anthony; brother: Eric (Doris) Clarke; brother-in-law: George Anthony. Leaving to mourn: daughters: Janet (Peter) Pardy, Linda (Bern) Quinlan; sisters: Ruth Mitchell, Bertha (William) Dawe; brother: Norman (Bernice) Clarke; 6 grandchildren, a large number of great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Funeral services took place on Monday, February 6, 2012 at 2p.m from the Anglican Parish of the Resurrection, South River. Interment was in the United Church Cemetery, Clarke’s Beach. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lung Association or the charity of one’s choice. Father Gerald Wescott and Rev’d Linda Budden officiated. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Moore’s Funeral Home, Clarkes Beach.
