Helen Marjorie Gee - 87, of Cambridge, Kings County, passed away Tuesday, February 7, 2012 in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Binghamton, New York, she was the daughter of the late Gordon and Minnie (Hall) Silver. She is survived by four children, Robert (Beverly), Woodville; George (Thelma), Steam Mill; Marjorie (David) Baird, Halifax; Wayne (Claire), Cape Breton; ten grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; three sisters, Evelyn Hartling, Halifax; Gerry MacDougall, British Columbia; Pauline Schofield, Greenwood; a brother, Wayne, Rockland; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, George; a brother, Arnold. Cremation has taken place. There was no visitation, by request. The funeral service, followed by a reception, was held at 1:00 p.m., Sunday, February 12, 2012 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville, Reverend Thelma McLeod officiating. Burial took place in the Elm Grove Cemetery, Steam Mill. Family flowers only, by request.
