The death occurred peacefully and surrounded by his family at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Friday, Feb. 10, 2012, of James Norman Quinn of Summerside, aged 75 years. Norman was born on Feb. 11, 1936, in Ottawa, Ont., to his late parents, James and Lillian (nee Ward) Quinn. Beloved husband of Joyce (nee Arsenault) Quinn and loving father of Sharyn (Gerald) Brennan of North Sydney, N.S., James (Stella) of Toronto, Ont., Heather (Dave) Quinn-Taylor of Paradise, NL., Robyn of Riverview, N.B., Kelly (Phillip) McNair of Lower Sackville, N.S., and his special grandson Jared. Also lovingly remembered by his other grandchildren: Adam, Sarah, Rory, Jeremy, Eathan, Rebecca, Lindsay, Jamie, MacKenzie, Joel, and several nieces and nephews. Survived by his brothers Bill and Robert and his sister Pat Hughes all of Ottawa. Besides his parents, Norman was predeceased by his brothers Michael and Peter. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside, until Tuesday, Feb. 14, for a funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 1 p.m. Visiting hours on Monday evening only, 6-9.
