Etsu Omatsu, born August 8, 1914 in Vancouver, BC, passed away peacefully at the Royal Inland Hospital on Tuesday, February 7, 2012.
Etsu was predeceased by her husband, Torazo on August 2, 2009 and her parents Sanjiro and Ito, brothers Ichizo and Gunzo, and sisters Hatsuye and Hisae.
Etsu was much-loved and will be missed by her numerous nieces and nephews, as well as great and great great nieces and nephews.
The Omatsu and the Kobayashi families would like to thank the staff, nurses and doctors on 3 West and 5 North at Royal Inland Hospital for all their care, support and love. Deep and lasting gratitude to Dr. Alice Huang for her kindness and personal care of Etsu.
The Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at the Kamloops Buddhist Temple, 361 Poplar Street.
