The death occurred at Colchester Regional Hospital in Truro, NS, on Feb. 4, 2012 of Fredrick Percy Tobin of Bass River, NS, formerly from Chelton, PEI. He was predeceased by parents Stephen and Georgina Tobin, sister Vanetta, and son Wayne, mother and father-in-law Ray and Verna Sobey, brothers-in-law Wayne Sobey, Albert Dunstall and sister-in-law Barbara Dunstall. He is survived by wife Donna, son Raymond and daughters Sherry Nicholson (Carter) and Darlene (Peter) Palmer of Summerside, PEI. Sisters-in-law: Lynn (Dale) Crossman, Deanie (John) Lapointe, Estelle Arsenault (Ian) of England, brothers-in-law Craig Sobey, David (Kathy) Sobey, Summerside. Also leaves behind nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services and cremation were held in Nova Scotia. Remembrance reception to take place Thursday, Feb. 16 1-4 p.m. at the Borden Legion Branch 10. Fond memories of Fred’s life welcomed.
