Stella Ingraham
INGRAHAM, STELLA GLADYS ELIZABETH - Stella Ingraham of Springfield, York Co., NB passed away February 12, 2012 at Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Born at Aldershot, England in 1926, she was a daughter of the late Wilford and Gladys May (Benwell) Inkpen. Stella was a member of the RCL Auxiliary, Southampton Branch # 27. She was employed at Kings Landing for many years. Stella enjoyed making wedding cakes, embroidery work and making quilts. One of her quilts is hanging at Kings Landing Historical Settlement. Stella enjoyed people and her family. She was an adherent of Staples Settlement Baptist Church.
Stella is survived by a son, Derek Ingraham (Lisa), Woodstock, NB; two grandsons, Christopher Marr, Springfield, NB and George Ingraham, Woodstock, NB; a great granddaughter, Nevaeh; a sister, Audrey Fullbrook, England; a brother, Peter Inkpen, England; a sister-in-law, Dorothy Connell (Bert), Northampton, NB; two brothers-in-law, Arnold Ingraham (Mabel), Hainesville, NB and Ronald Ingraham (Maxine), Caverhill, NB; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Milton Ingraham; a daughter, Valerie Marr and a brother, Alan Inkpen and his wife, Rosemary; a brother-in-law, John Fullbrook.
Visiting hours will be held at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic, NB on Tuesdayfrom 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A RCL Auxiliary Tribute Service will be held on Tuesday evening at the funeral home at 7 p.m. Funeral service will be held from the funeral home on Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Watson Williams officiating assisted by Rev. George Clark. A reception will follow at Springfield Community Church. Interment will be later at Upper Caverhill Cemetery.
