Kjelgren: Connie Jean Kjelgren, age 69, of Cadillac, Sk. passed away February 4, 2012 at Cypress Regional Hospital. The memorial service was held at 2:00 pm from the Cadillac Community Hall with Intern Minister Pamela Scott, United Church of Canada officiating. Special Music was preformed by Kathy Grant. Connie was born on December 7, 1942 in Halifax. N.S. She met Cliff Kjelgren and the couple were married in Fort St John, B.C. on May 21, 1960. She helped Cliff run the family business in B.C. They moved to Cadillac in 1996, where she worked as a bank courier with Cliff for a number of years. Connie enjoyed travelling, fishing and watching the Riders on TV. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her husband Cliff; sons Marty (Kathy); Lance (Kim), Garry (Deanne); daughter; Jean Dubois; grand children Jason, Jamie, Tyler, Alana, Tasha, Robert and Brenden; great granddaughter Charlotte; sisters Pat Bartz and Anne Chamberlain and numerous nieces and nephews. Connie will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by her family and friends. In her memory, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 43 1st Ave. N.E., Swift Current, Sk.
