NEW GLASGOW – It comes with great sadness to announce the passing of our beloved son and brother, Donald James Pentz, on Friday, February 10, 2012.
Born on July 25, 1970 in New Glasgow, NS, he was the son of Muriel “Molly” Pentz (Charlie Jordan) and Donald Borden; brother to Jennie Pentz and Charlene Pentz-Eastman (brother-in-law Jason Eastman), and forever known as Uncle Donnie to his three beautiful nieces: Shilin, Tavin and Rayah.
He is survived by his spouse, Amy Chandler; son, Devin; grandmother, Annie Mae Pentz; maternal aunts and uncles: Lloyd and Catherine Pentz; Barb and Jim Cleary; Janie and Raymond Thomas; Mary and Allan MacMaster; and Bernadette Pentz; paternal aunts and uncles: Tammy, Nova, Kim, Darlene, Vickie, Joseph, Ronald, Russell, Glen, Neville and Bruce Borden; several cousins from both sides of his family.
He was predeceased by his grandfathers, Lloyd James Pentz and Lester R. Borden; grandmother Katherine Ann Borden and uncle Lester Borden.
He will be dearly missed by all his family and friends and will always hold a special place in all of our hearts. Let us hold memory to his laughter he shared and the good times spent with him.
Interment will be held at a later date for immediate family.
Memorial donations may be made to the Pictou County SPCA or charity of your choice.
