Vena King
KING, VENA DORTHY - Vena D. King-Crouse of Fredericton, NB passed away February 12, 2012 at Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Born at Lower Hainesville, NB in 1946, she was a daughter of the late Jerome and Maxine (McKiel) King. Vena was a devoted mother and grandmother. She was a dedicated member of the Saint John Ambulance with over 7,000 hours volunteered. Vena is survived by a son, Rodney Crouse (Nick MacDonald), Belleville, ON; a daughter, Wendy Crouse (Nick Boles), Fredericton, NB; three grandchildren, Martin, Katelyn and Emma; the father of her children, Melvin Crouse, Doaktown, NB; four sisters, Bonnie King, Judy Lemon (Terry), Sherry King, all of Fredericton, Annette Crouse (Mark), Burtts Corner; two brothers, Dale King (Joyce), Harvey and Dwight King (Sheila), Lower Hainesville, NB; several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and an uncle.
Visiting hours will be held at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic, NB on Wednesday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 16, 2012 at 2 p.m. from the funeral home chapel with Rev. Evelyn Brewer officiating. Interment will be later at Lower Hainesville Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers will be her siblings.
