Passed away on Friday, February 10th, 2012, at the Health Sciences Complex in the presence of his loving family, Mark Gordon William Fancey, age 29, a brave and brilliant soul. Predeceased by his infant sister, Jennifer Mary Elizabeth; grandparents George and Mary Fancey, Bishop’s Falls; grandfather William R. Dawe Jr., St. John’s; uncle Gerry Termaaten, Spruce Grove, Alberta; uncle Will Penney, Bishop’s Falls; aunt Betty Fancey, Bishop’s Falls; special uncle Ron Pelley, St. John’s. Leaving to mourn with many wonderful memories, his loving parents, Everett and Linda; sister and first best friend Renee (partner Steve Penney); grandmother Sue Dawe, St. John’s; aunts: Rose Termaaten, Spruce Grove, Alberta; Marie Penney, Bishop’s Falls; Phyllis Fancey, Bishop’s Falls; uncles: Brud Fancey, Bishop’s Falls; Herb Fancey (Velma), Lethbridge, Alberta; Art Fancey (Shirley), Bishop’s Falls; Dave Fancey (Marina), Bishop’s Falls; Kev Fancey (Rosalie), St. John’s; Derrick Fancey (Patsy), Bishop’s Falls; special Aunt Sandra Pelley, St. John’s; special cousin and friend, Andrew Pelley (partner Heather), St. John’s; a very large circle of extended family and friends; and the many others he touched with his kindness and inspired along the way. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, on Monday, February 13th, and Tuesday February 14th, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service from the Carnell Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, February 15th, at 2 p.m. Family interment to follow at the Columbarium, Forest Road.
