BOURGEOIS, EVA - 1932 - 2012 - Eva Bourgeois, 79, of Moncton, NB passed away, surrounded by her loving family, at her residence, on Monday, February 13th, 2012, after a brief battle with cancer. Born in Moncton, NB, she was the daughter of the late Edgar and the late Mabel (née: Bourgeois) Bourque. Mrs. Bourgeois had worked at École Notre-Dame and was a member of Notre-Dame-de-la-Paix parish. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Ernest; two daughters: Monique Bourgeois (Jean-Pierre) of Notre-Dame and Thérèse Donelle of Riverview; two sons: Jérôme “Jay” (Nicole) of Dieppe and Marc (Suzanne) of MacDougall Sett.; one sister, Amanda (late Harry) Armstrong of Moncton; two grandchildren: Mélanie and Josée, as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by two sisters: Geraldine and Alfreda and also by two brothers: Edouard and Georges.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB (857-1901) on Thursday from 7 to 9 pm and also on Friday from 2 pm until time of service. Funeral service will be celebrated from the Chartersville Funeral Home Chapel, on Friday, February 17th, 2012 at 3 pm. Interment at Chartersville Funeral Home Columbarium, Dieppe, NB. Donations to the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital or to the Friends of the Moncton Hospital Foundations would be appreciated by the family.
