
Harold Estey
ESTEY, HAROLD - The death of Harold Joseph Estey of Miramichi, NB, husband of Marion (Doyle) Estey occurred at the Miramichi Senior Citizen Home on Monday, February 13, 2012 at the age of 91. Born in Sevogle, NB, Harold was the son of the late Albert and Dorothy (Baisley) Estey. Harold was a Veteran of WWII serving in the Mediterranean Area and Continental Europe, member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #90, Sunny Corner, NB, retired carpenter and attended St. James Roman Catholic Church Sevogle, NB. Harold is survived by four daughters: Juanita Patton and Sharlene Walsh (Brian) all of Miramichi, NB, Moureene DeWolfe (Joe) and Sandra Rivard (Jim) all of Fort Saskatchewan, AB; three sons: Wayne (Glenda) of Fort Saskatchewan, AB, Tony (Joy Anne) of Agnus, ON and Andrew (Phil) of Toronto, ON; five sisters: Greta Innis of Miramichi, NB, Helen Mahoney of Sunny Corner, NB, Carmel Estey and Theresa Freeman both of Hamilton, ON and Loretta Campbell of BC; one brother: Barry of Craigville, NB; 14 grandchildren 14 great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Harold is predeceased by one son Richard; one granddaughter: Bobby Joe and four sisters: Doreen, Marie, Bernadette and Mona and three brothers: Morrisy, Jim and Frances.
Visitation will be held at Bell’s Funeral Home on Thursday from 7 to 9 and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, February 18, 2012 at 11 am from St. James Roman Catholic Church, Sevogle, NB with Father Leon Creamer officiating. Burial will take place in St. James Roman Catholic Cemetery later in the spring. In lieu of flowers in Harold’s memory a donation may be made The Veteran’s Wing of the Miramichi Senior Citizen Home or St. James Roman Catholic Cemetery Fund.
