GRADY , William " Bill " David age 68 years of Dartmouth , formerly of Amherst ,passed away February 11 , 2012 at home. Bill was born August 4 , 1943 in Amherst to parents William Grady and Eileen Pickles. He was an active member of his community in Amherst and lived there most of his life. He leaves behind his son David ( Doreen ) Grady , three wonderful grandchildren Devan , Ben and Allison who lit up his life everyday , also his mothers Eileen Pickles , Amherst and Doris Grady , Summerside . Three brothers Wesley ( Tena ) Pickles , Halifax , Creighton ( Dorothy ) Pickles , Springhill , Lloyd Buchanan , Summerside . Four sisters Karen ( Alan ) Barbour , The Brae , Wanda ( Willie ) Dunbar , O'Leary , Ruth ( Thane ) Smallman , O'Leary , Sheila ( Gordon ) Blackette , Roseneath . Bill is also survived and loved by numerous cousins , nieces and nephews , and great nieces and nephews . He is also remembered by special friend Donna ( John ) Clements ( David's mom ) . He was predeceased by fathers William Grady and Thomas Pickles , sister Eileen " Tootsie ' Grady , brother Gerald Pickles . Memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday in the Amherst Baptist Church . A reception will follow in the church hall. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Salvation Army , the S.P.C.A . or a charity of choice .
