Passed peacefully away at The L.A. Miller Centre Palliative Care Unit on February 13th, 2012, Betty Collins, aged 78 years. Predeceased by her husband Cecil (2010) and parents Ethel and Stanley Tilley. Left to mourn her children: Heather Avery (Nelson), Dean (Denise) and Rhonda Haire (Leo); six grandchildren: Allison Avery, Perry Avery, Emily Collins, Stephen Collins, Jackson Haire and Angelina Haire. Also left to mourn her brother Ronald Tilley (Marjorie ) of Florida; brothers-in-law: John Collins and Brian Collins (Berniece) and sisters-in-law: Dorothy Angel (Tom) and Trudy Heimbigner; as well as a large circle of nephews nieces and other relatives and friends. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Wednesday, February 15th, 2012 from 7:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. and on Thursday, February 16th, 2012 from 2:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m .Funeral service to take place from The Carnell Memorial Chapel on Friday, February 17th, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. with interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
