Passed peacefully away at the Palliative Care Unit on Saturday, February 11, 2012, Gerard Dunphy of St. John’s in his 55th year. Predeceased by his father Martin Sr. and brother Martin Jr. Leaving to celebrate his life with wonderful memories are his mother Mary; brothers: Wayne (Carm) and Gary; his sisters: Rosemary (Fergus) Lambe, Brenda (Dan) O’Keefe, and Eileen (Kevin) Shirley: nieces and nephews: Barry Dunphy, Martin (Randene) and Jyllian (Mark), Tanya Shirley (Marcel), Sheena and Kelly O’Keefe; great nieces: Georgia and Maggie Lambe; also a large circle of extended family and friends. Cremation has taken place. Funeral Mass will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 15, 2012 from St. Teresa’s Church, Mundy Pond Road, St. John’s.
