WHITE, Irene Viola (Malone) – 88 of Arcadia passed away peacefully at the Meadows Home for Special Care in Yarmouth. Born in Montreal, Quebec, she was the daughter of the late William John Malone and Mathilda (Ostrout) Malone. She was the wife of the late Russell James White. She is survived by her daughter Linda (White) Muise; daughter-in-law, Irene (Hansford) White; grandson’s, Robert (Brenda), Andy (Petrina); and great grandchildren, Alex (April), Tara (Brian), Emma and step great granddaughter Faith. She was predeceased by son, Russell Gerald White; son-in-law Earl Muise; brothers, Harold, Gerald, Ernest, Clifford; sisters, Murial, Hazel, Gertie. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted Sweeny’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth. A memorial service was held Saturday, February 18, 2012 at 10 a.m. from Sweeny’s Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Jim Bragan officiated. Interment will be at a later date in the Field of Honour, Montreal, Quebec. Family flowers only please. Donations in memory may be made to the Meadow’s for Special Care.
