LAPOINTE, MARY RITA - The death of Mary Rita Lapointe occurred Saturday, February 18th, 2012 at the W.G. Bishop Nursing Home in Minto, NB. Born in Minto, she was the daughter of the late Wilfred and Zelia (Robichaud) LeClair. Rita is survived by her husband Arthur; daughters Theresa Parson (Calvin), Janet LaPointe, both of Minto, and Linda LaPointe of Fredericton; a sister Lena Gallant of Rogersville; three grandchildren, Billy Parson, Calvin Parson Jr and Laura Lee Sherwood; two great grandchildren, Tabitha and Kody; special friend, Ella Miranda; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother Marcel LeClair and a sister Irene Hachey.
Resting at Hogg Funeral Services (10 King Street, Minto, NB) , with visiting on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00AM, Tuesday, February 21st, 2012 from Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Interment will take place in Saint Bridget’s Cemetery at a later date.
