Nazaire Guimond
GUIMOND, NAZAIRE - (1920-2012) - ST. LOUIS DE KENT, NB - Nazaire Guimond, 91, of St. Louis passed away peacefully at the Stella Maris Hospital, Ste. Anne on Saturday, February 18th, 2012. Born in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Joseph Marie and the late Lucie (Arsenault) Guimond. Nazaire will be sadly missed by his sister; Laurette Guimond of St. John his sister-in-law; Annie Guimond of St. Louis-de-Kent, as well as by several nieces and nephews. Other than by his parents, Nazaire was predeceased by six sisters; Angele, Eva, Marie Anne, Alexina, Marthe, and Alida; five brothers; Simon, Gergoire, Alphonse, Roger and Alonzo. Nazaire served overseas with Les Fusiliers Mont-Royal during WWII having fought in France, Belgium, Holland and Germany.
Nazaire will be resting at Thompson’s Memorial Home, St. Louis with visitation on Monday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00pm, Tuesday from 10:30am until time of funeral. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, February 21st, 2012 at 12:30pm, St. Louis des Francais Roman Catholic Church, St. Louis. Interment will take place in the parish cemetery in the spring.
