ESTEPHAN, KARIME - The death of Karime Estephan, wife of Joseph Estephan of Fredericton, NB, occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on Sunday, February 19th, 2012. Born in Niha, Lebanon, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Julia (Latouff) Jacob. She is survived by her husband Joseph, three sons, Khalil Estephan (Tammy) of Lincoln, NB, Tony Estephan (Pauline) of Fredericton, NB and Fadi Estephan (Najwa) of Fredericton, NB; four daughters, Fadia Shaer (Amin) of Fredericton, NB, Juliette Sarkis (Basam) of Lebanon, Salwa Serhan (George) of Lebanon and Mireille Kmeid (Joseph) of Lebanon, several grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; one brother, Hanna Hanna of Lincoln and one sister Marguerite Zegeib of Lebanon. She was predeceased by her parents, two sisters, Loulou and Marie, and two brothers, Jacob and Karim.
The family will receive visitors at McAdam's Funeral Home, 160 York Street, Fredericton on Tuesday, February 21st, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Charbel's Catholic Church on Wednesday, February 22nd, 2012 at 2:00 PM. Interment will take place in St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Cemetery at a later date. For those who wish, memorial tributes made to the Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
