Stillman, Sarah Rose
1933-2012
The death of Sarah Rose Stillman, 78, of Amherst, occurred on Sunday, February 19, 2012 from the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre after several years of declining health. Sarah was a daughter of the late Courtenay and Jennie (Gould) Cole.
Sarah will be sadly missed by her sons, Christopher (Louise), of Maccan, Barry (Doris), of Windsor, ON; two daughters, Cindy (Barry) Burke, of Amherst and Susan of Windsor, ON; six grandchildren; six great grandchildren; two sisters, Dorothy Dupuis, of Truro, and Hazel (Keith) Tingley, of Amherst; one brother, Walter (Eileen) Cole, of Amherst; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Sarah was predeceased by a son, David; a grandson, Jeffrey; a brother, Daniel Cole, and a sister Shirley Cole.
Honoring Sarah's wishes, there will not be a funeral service. A time of remembrance is being planned by the family at their home from 7-9 pm on Tuesday, February 21, 2012 and Wednesday, February 22, 2012.
