STELLARTON – Eleanor Bernice Nicholson, age 80, of Foster Ave., Stellarton, passed away on Sunday, February 19th, 2012 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.
Born in Stellarton, she was a daughter of the late Stanley and Mary (Trott) Whytewood.
Eleanor had resided in Stellarton since 1993, prior to which she lived in New Glasgow. During her working career Eleanor had worked in the field of nursing as a LPN.
Surviving are her children: Sis Nicholson, Chris Nicholson, Todd Nicholson and Pat Nicholson; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild; sisters: Ruby, Marsha, Linda and Margie; brothers: Harold, Sam and John.
Eleanor was predeceased by her husband David and a son David; sisters: Seb, Bunny and Norma; brothers, Stan and Alan.
Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or service by request of the deceased.
Arrangements are entrusted to the H.C. MacQuarrie Funeral Chapel.
