Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Complex on Wednesday, February 22, 2012, Alice V. White (nee Penney), aged 76 years. Predeceased by her husband Gerald White, daughter Genevieve Sullivan, parents Harry and Gertrude Penney, and sister Myrtle Butt. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her daughter Barbara Reynolds (Terry); son Christopher White (Sherri Rideout); son-in-law Noel Sullivan; grandchildren: Trudy Adams (Elton), Gerry Sullivan, Sherrie Reynolds (Cliff Lee) and Tim Reynolds (Kayleigh Oakley), also a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, especially her family at Meadow Creek and Karwood Retirement Homes. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. and then on Friday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass to be held from St. Thomas of Villa Nova Roman Catholic Church, Manuels on Saturday, February 25, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at The Roman Catholic Cemetery, Topsail.
