Donald Lloyd Fulton

Fulton, Donald Lloyd – 92, Bass River passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2012 in Veteran’s Memorial Hospital, Halifax. Born October 27, 1919 he was the youngest of eleven children born to the late Scott and Karrie (Knight) Fulton of Bass River. He is survived by son, Bill (Joanne), Bass River; twin daughter, Daphne (Tom), Truro; sister, Peg Fletcher, Truro; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Jennie (Smith); twin daughter, Dorothy; daughter, Marjorie and grandson, Trevor; brothers, Stanley, Harry, Dawson, Harney, George, Ken; sisters, Lita, Eva and a sister in infancy. He served overseas in the Second World War. He was employed with the Dept. of Highways for 33 years. He had many good times and lots of memories of Castlereigh – the place he wanted to return to – time after time. Cremation has taken place. No visitation by request. A memorial service will be held on Monday, February 27 at 2:00 pm in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow Street, Truro with Rev. Florence Antle-Brison officiating. Private interment at a later date. Family flowers only. Donations in his memory may be made to the Veterans Memorial Park, Bass River.
