It is with great sadness that the family of the late Michael Lucas announce his passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook on Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at the age of 77 years. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Edna, five sons: Robert (Hilda), Joseph (Cathy), Timmy, Tommy (Amanda), all of Stephenville Crossing, Mickey (Shelly) of Alberta, two daughters: Emily (Herman) Young of Deer Lake, Lisa (Stan) Gallant of Alberta, five brothers: Gerald (Joan) of Shallop Cove, Cecil (Nellie) of Holyrood, Stan (Carolyn) of Shallop Cove, Clevis of Black Duck, Cyril (Marj) of Ontario, one sister, Leona Lebel of Nevada, 13 grandchildren, one great-grandchild and a large circle of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Francis and Anita, sister, Loretta (Winnipeg) granddaughter, Chelsea. Cremation has taken place and friends may call at Russell’s Funeral Home, Station Road, Stephenville Crossing on Friday, February 24th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, February 25th, 10:00 a.m. at Assumption Parish, Stephenville Crossing with Interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Brook Street, Stephenville Crossing.
