SOLLER, BERNARDINO F. - The death of Bernardino Soller, loving husband of Clarita Soller occurred after a brief illness at the Moncton City Hospital on February 22, 2012. Born 1934 in Ilocos Sur, Philippines, he was the son of the late Wenceslao Soller and Juana Farinas. Bernardino is survived by his wife Clarita; brothers Salvador (Perla) of QC Philippines, Arthur (Lilia) of Los Angeles; sisters Myrna Soller of Canton, MI, Mercedes Rosette of North Olmstead, OH and Donna (Anselmo) Tulod of the Philippines; sisters-in-law Carolina (Tim) Nofies of Saint John and Hermie Abes of Dartmouth, NS; special nephews Nathan and Nicholas; many counsins, nieces, nephews and friends. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by brothers Jose and Elsier Soller. Bernardino worked as an orderly at the DVA and retired from the Alzheimer’s unit in 1998.
Resting at the Fundy Funeral Home 230 Westmorland Road, (646-2424) with visitation on Saturday, February 25th from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday, February 26th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held from St. Joachim’s Catholic Church, 603 Loch Lomond Road at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, February 27th. Interment to follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Donations in Bernadino’s memory can be made to the Alzheimer’s Society or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
