Passed peacefully away at Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Thursday, February 23rd, 2012, Frances Pennell at the age of 93 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories is her son: Vincent Pennell (Molly); grandchildren: Keith (Darlene), Lori Ann (Jagadish), Cory (Trina), Draper (Stephanie) and Terri Lynn (Jonathon); great grandchildren: Chris, Leslie, Jamie, Somia, Alexandra, Kaitlyn, Breyden, Page, Madison and MacKenzie; sisters: Veronica Greene and Bride Greene (Ron); as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Predeceased by her husband Leslie; grandson: Vincent; sister and brothers: Dorothy, Ray, Ben and Patrick. The Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, February 25th at 10:30 AM from Our Lady Star of the Sea Parish, Benoits Cove, Father Edmund Camacho officiating, followed by interment at the church cemetery. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made the charity of one’s choice.
