1925-2012. Richard passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on February 22nd, 2012 after a long and wonderful life at the age of 86. He is predeceased by his son Patrick and his grandson Cory, his parents Jim and Mary Ellen, his beloved sister Rita Doody and brothers Jermiah and Steve.
He leaves to celebrate his life his dear wife Margaret (wed for 59 years); his two sons: Brendan (Carol) & Wayne (Cathy). He leaves behind his cherished grandchildren with wonderful memories: Megan, Merissa, Angela and Krystle and a large circle of relatives and friends.
Richard will be at Caul’s Funeral Home on LeMarchant Rd. on Thursday, February 23rd from 7-9 and Friday, February 24th from 2-4 and 7-9. Services will be held at Caul’s Chapel on Saturday, February 25th at 10:30 am. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Topsail Rd.
Special thanks to all who assisted Richard to be comfortable in the last months of his life. You will forever be in our thoughts.
