Passed peacefully away surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, February 22nd, 2012 at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital, Mary Paula Pearcey, age 74 years. She is the daughter of the late Leo and Mary (nee Sears) Moore. Mom was predeceased by her loving husband, Albert “Chum” Pearcey, her sisters-in-law Lilly Keagan and Elsie Cox, her brothers-in-law Harry and William Pearcey, special niece Linda and her nephew Len Pearcey. Left to mourn with loving memories are her six sons and two daughters: Bill (Joanne), Butch (Paula), Mike (Marie), Edith (Robert), Chris (Ann), Steve (Allison), Cathy (Mike), and Lenny (Brenda); loving brother John and wife Eileen; sister Helen; her precious grandchildren: Nick, Shawn, Christopher, A.J., Krista, Jeanette, Garrett, Troy, Keisha, Brady, Noah and Mason; 1 great-granddaughter Payton; special step-grandchildren: Kaitlyn, Matt, Darryle, Ashley, Jonathan, Stephen, Mikayla and Kody; also leaving to mourn special nephews: Paul and Steve Merrette; sisters-in-law Jessie “Doll” and Lorraine Pearcey; friend Frances Hogan; her caregiver Tammy Hibbs and a large number of nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the doctors and amazing nursing staff of 5 East. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation Thursday, February 23, from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. and Friday, February 24 from 10 a.m. – 9 p.m. Funeral Mass on Saturday, February 25th, at 10 a.m. from St. Peter’s Church. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.­
