Victoria Sackney

It is with profound sadness that the family of Victoria Sackney announces her peaceful passing on Sunday February 19, 2012 at her residence at the age of 68 years. Victoria was born on June 2nd, 1943 at the home of Alex and Mary Eftoda at Goldenvale, SK. Victoria is survived by her two sons Wayne Morris and his wife Michelle (Carpentier), two grandsons Brett Cory, Dane Cody of Fort Saskatchewan, AB and Darrell and his wife Barb (Mills) and their two sons Bryant Alexander and Justin Michael of Prince Albert, SK. Also she is survived by her mother Mary Eftoda, her three sisters; Elsie Kotyk of Rama, SK, Stella Kowalchuk of Steinbach, MB and Iris Shinkewski of Calgary, AB. Her brother-in-law Larry Shinkewski. As well as various nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and many friends. Victoria is predeceased by her husband Morris, sister Olga, father Alex, brother-in-laws Peter Kotyk and Walter Kowalchuk. Funeral Services for Victoria will be held on Wednesday Feb 29, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Acadia-McKague’s Funeral Centre (915 Acadia Drive), Saskatoon, SK. Interment will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. In place of flowers memorial donations in Victoria’s honour may be made to donor’s choice.
