MAILLET, RONALD “RONNIE” - 1942-2012 -
ALDOUANE, NB- Ronald Maillet 69, of Aldouane passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont Regional Hospital on Thursday, February 23rd, 2012. Born in Richibouctou-Village, he was the son of the late Albert and Lydie (Arsenault) Maillet. Before retiring, Ronald owned D&M Service Station. Ronald will be sadly missed by his loving wife; Bernice (Daigle) Maillet of Aldouane, his two daughters; Gisele Maillet (Jean-Guy) of Aldouane, Monique Sands (Jeff) of New Hampshire, his son; Albert Maillet (Emerise) of St. Charles, seven grandchildren; Justin (Nat), Jennifer, Marc, Remi, Brady, Sam, Liam and two great grandchildren; Talisha & Jayden. Ronald is also survived by his mother; Lydie Maillet of St. Louis, two sisters; Raymonde Briggs (Dana) of Barrie, ON, Isabelle Melançon (Leon) of Edmunston, one brother; Jacques Maillet (Ludwina) of Kanata, ON, as well as several nieces, nephews and friends.
Resting at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto with visitation on Tuesday, from 2:00 to 4:00pm and 7:00 to 9:00pm, Wednesday at noon until departure for the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, February 29th, 2012 at 2:00pm, St. Louis de Gonzague Roman Catholic Church, Richibucto. Interment will be in the Aldouane Roman Catholic Cemetery at a later date. If so desired, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
