It is with great sadness that the family of the late Otto Lush announce his passing at Port aux Basques on Saturday, February 25, 2012 at the age of 70 years. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Lorna, one son, Woodrow Lush of Alberta, one daughter, Diane Grandy of Ottawa, two brothers: Reid (Marjorie) Lush of Nova Scotia, Roy Lush of Alberta, three sisters: Betty Pafford (Max) of Oromocto, New Brunswick, Lilly Shewring (Robert) of Milton, Ontario, Fern Jennings-Cobb (Wendell) of Codroy Valley, two grandchildren: Cody Grandy and Victoria Grandy and Lorna’s children: Pamela Ricketts of Kitchener, Ontario, Kimberly Ricketts of Stephenville, Beverly Gillingham of Kitchener, Ontario and Todd Ricketts of St. John’s and a large circle of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Betty Lush and his parents, Eli and Gladys, two brothers: Fred and Hedley. Friends may call at Russell’s Funeral Home, 57 Prince Rupert Drive, Stephenville on Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place at Russell’s Funeral Home Chapel, 39 Queen Street, Stephenville on Thursday, March 1st at 2:00 p.m. with Major Perry officiating. Cremation to follow and Interment will take place at a later date.
